Skaiva is the adopted middle child of Ievavi's royal family, the rulers of a magical kingdom on a world where light and dark magic reign.

She was born on the 31st of August but was found in the woods of Darxas by her older sister Sveta on September 24th, so she celebrates her birthday that day.

Skaiva is quite shy and quiet, but can't stop talking about the things she is most interested in: animals and plants. When first meeting someone, she can be a bit distant, but once she opens up a little, she shows herself as an adventure lover, although quite cautious.

Sky is a bit insecure about her strengths and is usually very clumsy, especially when she’s around people. However, though she doesn’t really notice, she is very loved for her kindness and intelligence.

Both Skaiva's sisters master light magic, something Skaiva is found incapable of doing, her attempts usually resulting in unexpected explosions. Instead of magic, Skaiva is skilled in sword fighting and military strategy, although she prefers avoiding conflict and seeking diplomatic measures.

BACKGROUND

Her biological parents are Chanorgú and the director of a traveling circus. Chanorgú lived in the Braom colony of the Upper Northern Frontier called Vuripion-daramoi, right next to the capital of the region, Darxas. When she was about nineteen years old, a traveling circus arrived in Darxas, and one day she secretly went to see it, where she met the director of the circus and fell in love with him. The director promised her a better life together as part of the circus, and so Chanorgú joined.

After a short time, when Chanorgú had Skaiva, whom she named Syeira, the director of the circus abandoned Chanorgú, as he was only interested in the baby to exhibit in the circus, since she was half Braom and half Lumkren. During the time that Chanorgú was looking for the circus, the director marked Syeira with a family badge in her wrist that did not exist, the star, to symbolize her rarity.

When the circus returned to Darxas, almost a year after Chanorgú and the director first met, the director attacked by Chanorgú, who had been chasing him for a long time, ending his life. Chanorgú then took her daughter, and, unable to love her for all the suffering she had caused her, abandoned her in the Darxas forest, where days later she would be found by Sveta, the king's daughter, who would take her to the royal villa in Darxas, where the kings would decide to adopt the baby.

CHAPTER I: FLIGHT FROM DARXAS

Skaiva is tasked to travel to Earth and retrieve lost magical creatures that have escaped through mysterious portals. The night before her parting, the city of Darxas, where the royal family was staying, is pillaged by enemy troops of the Grorne Kingdom, the gloomy kingdom where dark magic originates from, currently at war with Ievavi-Osa.

Skaiva manages to escape through the portal hidden within the ruins of an ancient temple, traveling to Earth, where she’ll meet all kinds of new people who’ll help her get past her insecurities.

CHAPTER II:LIKE LOOKING TRHOUGH A MUTOSCOPE

On Earth, Skaiva meets Pol, who'll become her best friend and will take her in. During her time on Earth, she captures the loose magical creatures with Pol's help Eventually, Pol has to come back to the city, as the beginning of the school year is approaching, and Skaiva comes along, where she'll catch the final creatures and meet new people, such as Pol’s friend group and classmates.

CHAPTER III: A THIN GLEAMING SHROUD

As time goes on, and Skaiva gets out of her bubble, she gains consciousness of the power dynamics of the world and starts to question the legitimacy of her parents’ throne. Simultaneously, Pol and some of his friends, alongside their families, have been helping in the search for a missing classmate, Èlia, who had been Pol's best friend before they fell apart the year before. Nonetheless, Sky has been seeing a mysterious girl everywhere she goes that strangely resembles Èlia. Could it be a ghost?

• She's a very well-mannered child, who keeps her posture good and her hands in front, although she has a bad habit of biting her fingernails when nervous and has very sweaty hands. Regarding speech, she usually uses complicated words and expressions, often sounding a bit arrogant.


• Initially, her motivation is to carry out her role as perfectly as possible. Later on, to save her loved ones.


• Skaiva's greatest dream is to live in a peaceful cottage where she can study zoology alongside the ones she loves the most. However, as time goes by, she'll dream of building a fair world without class inequality or wars.


• Her greatest fear is being abandoned by her family and friends because of her mixed heritage and failing to meet what she believes are their expectations.


• Although she doesn't know at first, once she discovers it, her mixed heritage is her greatest secret. Nevertheless, towards the end of her adventure, she hides from the rest the deal she made with an unknown goddess.
